On 19 February at 05:11 UTC, Spica-04 passed a coastal concession in the Mekong delta on its 4-hour median revisit. Onboard inference flagged a 2.3 km² turbidity anomaly inconsistent with tidal signatures. The alert, including a confidence-weighted plume polygon and 0.7 m imagery, reached a maritime monitoring customer's inbox 71 minutes later.

A second pass at 09:14 UTC confirmed expansion against the prevailing current model. The customer escalated the verified event to local authorities the same afternoon. Spica's change-detection model sustained 97.3% accuracy on the SpaceNet-7 benchmark across flood and building damage during the same quarter.
